The EYFS curriculum combines play-based learning with structured activities, fostering creativity and social skills. It is a comprehensive framework that is organised into seven areas of learning, which are divided into Prime and Specific Areas, which focus not only on academic learning but also on the overall development of your child from birth to age five. It acknowledges the importance of social, emotional, physical and cognitive development, during their formative stage, preparing them for a bright academic future.
The EYFS curriculum is further reinforced with the Montessori curriculum, which develops the child’s natural thirst of knowledge, develop a sense of order, nurture functional creativity, boost self-confidence and importantly, help develop independence and confidence in learning, using concrete resources to bring learning to life.
